The location is excellent. It is right in the middle of the royal mile, next to the castle, the cathedral, the bridge and it has a view of the Scott monument. It is quiet, despite being in the centre of tourist attractions. The house is comfortable for 4 people. Very clean!!! There is no lift, so carrying the luggage for 3 floors was a bit of a workout, but it is absolutely worth it. Linda was able to accommodate us for checking in a little earlier, we're very thankful for that. The kitchen was fully equipped if someone prefers cooking. And there were complimentary shampoos in the bathroom. All in all, it was an excellent experience and I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend it!

Stunning 360 degree scenery, friendly welcoming, interested in what activities we had planned and suggested some, superb breakfast, clean fresh comfortable beds which made for an excellent nights, sleep, everything was truly spotless. The gardens they had created were stunning

The restaurant! The staff were all over the place, utterly disorganised and some of them were rude. We were served moldy bread with our Camembert entry for dinner - no compensation was offered, barley a proper excuse. The breakfast was served in a room warm as a sauna - making we question quite a few health regulations.

On arrival were told no bookings available for restaurant dining (very disappointing considering we paid a lot of money to stay), only availability left was in the blaney bar, service here was extremely slow. Waited over 1 hour on starters - after another half hour staff had to be asked to find out where main course was. In total our dining experience was over 2.5 hours
