Sadly never got names of stay but from reception to restaurant all the staff where amazing and helpful. Room might say small but perfect size for a weekend away or staying for a local party. Room was very clean and even after one day clean towels and a towel rail that was perfect to dry swim stuff. The spa was amazing and very clean. 10 out of 10 all round

Clean comfortable room. Very good parking and as close to Eurotunnel as you can get.

Main food and drink area not kept clean. Understaffed for amount of people trying to get food or just have a beer. Entertaining watching staff avoid helping each other and having a swearing fest at the kitchen door to the public area.

We were allocated a room in the Haven next door. The whole building is very tired looking. We had booked a superior room but again, it was a very tired looking room. Facilities were ok but decor was poor, damp patches in the ceiling. Bathroom felt like you’d fall through the floor. Poor state of finish. The restaurant was ok. Quality of food was good but service was slow, several things on menu unavailable. We were in a back room and left unattended for long periods. Went to the bar afterwards. We were practically only people in there all evening. Dead atmosphere. Disappointing stop on our Scotland tour, considering the room charge, compared to all our other stops. Poor value for money really.

Location was excellent. Bed comfy and the tea/ coffee facilities fine.

Bar shut early. Key card offered free drink anytime but it was not available even though it said anytime- misrepresentation. Was told we & our friends were given the wrong cards but that was not our fault. Space surrounding toilet was snug- and U am not large.

Hotel, clean, big, friendly staff, great location.

Booked 2 room's one looked out onto a brick wall where fire escape was & staff who was out the back very noisy! Other room had 3 top window's & below a huge area of a half circle board which was obviously not for climbing on as was to high, so really no outlook from that room either! So all in all not happy with either room we were given. Although they where clean & well equiped.
