Absolutely loved our stay at The Fox and Hounds. The room was spotless and had lovely decor, and the bed was tremendously comfy! The complimentary breakfast was very tasty. A very short drive away from Carmarthen, so a great location too. If we're in the area again we'll absolutely stay here in future.

Good breakfast included in price (with a toasting machine that actually toasted the bread and did not deliver warm white bread nor black carbon slabs). Good cancellation window (up to 4pm the previous day). Central location and friendly staff. Reasonable size and clean room. Lounge/bar on site.

Only 2 plug sockets at the desk and only one other in the room (inconveniently near the door). No sockets of any kind near the bed. Recommend bringing a multi-socket extension. Caution about the "dual-use" door in the bathroom - easy to jam your fingers! A heater is available but no fan or air-con.

Prefer room on first floor, but had not specified as booked via Booking.com rather than direct. The orange dessert was simply amazing - an outstanding culinary memory perfectly matched by the recommended wine.

It was very comfortable and in a quiet location. The facilities were very good generally. Great to have a Nespresso coffee machine available with a choice of coffees.

Corridors and room full and oppressive. Not the most modern of rooms. Work being done so scaffolding completely obliterated any sense of view. Expensive.
