The room was fine, a little smaller than I expected, but it was very nice, The breakfast was good value and the staff were all very friendly and so helpful, even the the groundsman, was very nice and the grounds were amazing., you could see all his hard work. the view from the back of the hotel was beautiful , will be going back.

The car park was a little busy and we did struggle to find a parking spot , but that shows the hotel was popular . You might struggle if you need a lift, as the stair are very steep.

Excellent location near colleges etc in the main area. Short cab ride from Oxford Station. Staff were very kind and tried to be as helpful as possible. High Tea with sandwiches, delicious scones and little fancies was good but pricey. Nice downstairs lounge level. Very good buffet range for breakfast.

The room was a bit small for the price, and it looked as though most were of a similar size. Small shower. Not great for accessibility. 3 entrances from Merton St, all with steps and no really helpful Handrails. One entrance had just a small step but there were more inside up to reception. There was a small lift to the reception level, and a small but proper lift to all floors. No parking except blue badge, and Oxford doesn't make it easy for drivers!

We've stayed here several times, it's a fantastic hotel, central to all amenities, staff so friendly and helpful, food at breakfast gives you so many choices and is lovely, the rooms are amazing recommend this hotel 100%

Lovely room, great breakfast and friendly,hospitable host. Ideal for our morning ferry crossing to Belfast, only a short 10 minute drive to the ferry port.
