Having lived in the village for thirty years I had eaten and drunk in the establishment many time over the years. After moving away this was a return visit for one night. We had booked a petite double room but although nothing was said I suspect we may have been upgraded to a disability room perhaps in recognition of obvious age and walking ability. For this we were very grateful and comfortable appreciating the assistance aids that had been installed. (wall bars etc.) Staff friendly and professional. Dog friendly in room, bar and restaurant.

Stayed here to go to a concert. Staff were very helpful and one girl in particular was very knowledgable about transport. Hotel was easily found from the main road, everything was comfy and worked. Breakfast had lots to choose from and was in a lovely bright room. Plenty parking. Everything as expected- stayed before so it was first choice for return visit to the area

Location as we have family living a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The breakfast was good, self service. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful in booking a taxi for us the day before departure. New carpets fitted throughout the hotel and walls painted since we last stayed there Nov 2023.

A loud ticking noise that we couldn't locate during the night. The issue was reported to hotel staff the following morning. The noise kept us awake for most of our final night. The duvet cover is too heavy a tog and we had to keep throwing it off and replacing when we were getting cold. I would like to book a smaller priced breakfast menu. Otherwise you feel you have to overeat to get value of the breakfast paid for.

I didn't have the breakfast as I was meeting friends for breakfast. The receptionist was very helpful in giving information about City buses as I had to meet Australian friends at another hotel after my arrival

Mobile reception was poor - often non existent - in my ground floor room (31) so I needed to go to reception to get a signal.

Staff were good and nice selection of teas and coffee in the room. Good breakfast. Great setting amongst the wider resort. Amazing gym in main hotel.
