It was super clean and much larger than I thought it would be. An excellent well equipped little getaway home. The jacuzzi bath was a lovely additional treat and the owners were extremely helpful from start to finish.

Please take some time to gather some better pictures of this beautiful property it really is delightful and although I would love it to always be available to me I would love for others to enjoy this space as much as we did.

Room and bathroom were amazing...Room 7...very spacious and luxurious. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast so good 👍 Location perfect Wished we were staying longer than one night but will definitely return.

Location good enabling us to visit local area. Meals good quality - food enjoyable both at breakfast and evening meal. Staff in restaurant efficient and pleasant. Lovely outside areas. Public areas well maintained.

Limited areas to sit and just have a drink considering size of hotel and number of guests. Bar and restaurant area lovely but limited choice of menu. Public areas including meal times very noisy due to mainly large numbers of corporate guests/conferences. Unable to access some areas eg outside and main restaurant and bar area due to private functions on occasion. Disturbed by very noisy guests between 2-4am also on corridors. Disappointed with room. Small, classic double only but expected higher standard. Cleanliness of room poor - excess of dust/dirt on skirting boards behind bed, bedside tables and underneath radiator. Window ledges on opening extremely dirty. Toilet bowl around both sides brown and needed proper cleaning. Plug hole in bath full of dark black hair. Mould on ceiling , chipped wall tiles and dirty grouting. Room not serviced despite leaving sign on handle requesting it to be. Needed to request clean dry towels and toilet roll from reception. Pool also closed for majority of stay therefore unable to use and not informed of re-opening - this hotel selected due to having pool facilities so disappointed unavailable. Should have been informed prior to checking in pool unavailable until further notice.

The rooms were great. The room had a fully functional kitchen and washing machine and the people running the place were awesome. Definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed in in the UK.

Bed uneven with big dip in the middle and uncomfortable. Bedroom furnishings could be better improved. Concerned that I was presented with an account on departure that included a 10% added gratuity to the agreed room rate on Booking.com. I understood that the hotel would have pre-charged my cc prior to arrival as usual Booking.com procedures apply but on questioning this they stated there was a problem with the card and couldn’t pre-charge, however I believe this is so that the service charge can be added. I had asked on check in and it was confirmed that my payment had been handled and processed already. Please be careful and transparent with your third party payment procedures.

Staff seem to be unorganised. Food was really not good especially for the price. Although the bed was comfortable we were biten by something. The sofa bed was not made up for our daughter. 1 towel was supplied between 3 of us. Charged for parking but told last time we visited that parking was free as we were members. Only 1 lift working in a large building. Wifi wouldn't work. Felt like everything was just hard work and definitely not worth the money.
