  The location was brilliant shandwick place right at the top of the main princes street The bus from airport stops 1 min across the street. Receptionist were lovely people to deal with. We had a queen suite and were shocked that theres was a kitchen unit wit everything you need. Table 4 chairs. Lighting was spot on. A fold out double couch bed that was already made when we got to the room. A tv in the main living room and kitchen. Double bed wardrobe and a bathroom with shower and bath. Theres also a tv in the bedroom Cannot recommend enough.

  The bath is a bit high to climb into and out of no help bar in the bath had to use the towel rail to lean against to get out.

  I wanted to break my journey and decided to re-visit Staverton Park as it is not too far off the M1. The hotel is good value for money with ample parking. Staff are friendly and the bar has a nice, vibrant and relaxed atmosphere. Dinner and breakfast are reasonable and again good value for money.

  The rooms are a little tired and could do with some refurbishment but for the money I could easily overlook this.

  The Spa was very good and the room large with lovely communal areas. Breakfast was excellent

  We got the last dinning slot and they forgot about us sadly, the meal was included in the room rate otherwise we wouldn’t have had to pay but they did take off our drinks. The room was dark.

  The cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were really dusty and had dirty cups with tea/coffee stains and also food stuck to them. The swimming pool water was also very musky and had bits of dirt floating all over
