I was really surprised how great this hotel was. I booked in a rush and it was so cheap I worried it might be a disappointment. How wrong I was! From the ample parking just outside, lovely, friendly and helpful staff, scrupulously clean and comfortable room and very tasty breakfast - the whole stay was fabulous and we’d definitely go back!

Coffee was not good - there is a coffee machine you can help yourself too but the ‘latte’ option produces something that does not taste of any coffee at all! Best thing to do is go for an Americano if you need a coffee hit! Flush on the toilet is weak. It can easily flush away the offending items but struggles with even small amounts of toilet later.

It's more like a 3 star, really. It's super small and uncomfortable. They have no parking. Staff was very tense. We ordered burgers for room service, and their lettuce was rotten.

They have arranged a room below ground for me which is disappointing. I have specific to the host that it is my wedding anniversary trip in advance, and at the end, they are not able to arrange anything decent. The room is dark underneath the ground, I have to keep my window shut and curtain off all the time, as anyone can look into my room or even break inside easily. It is not 100% safe to stay there, let alone feeling comfortable. The floor is not clean and the bed is small. The washroom is poorly designed, you cannot sit straight using the toilet as your leg will hit the basin draw. I will not recommend this apartment to anyone.
