Lovely bnb-style accommodation run by fantastic hosts, Louise and Chris. Chris provided us with a wealth of recommendations of things to do and see while we were there. Room was really peaceful, warm and clean, and we appreciated the amenities like tea and coffee for our short stay. The accommodation is in a great location, just a 15 minute walk or a short bus ride into town.

This is a beautiful hotel situated in a beautiful part of Inverness the room was large. We arrived 4 hours early and staff accommodated us early with no issues whatsoever. The food was brilliant and we even saw deer in the gardens.

We did not get to see the Northern lights due to weather but that is not the hotels fault. As for the hotel nothing.

We were self catering so brkfst not provided. The view of the lake was lovely. Nice to have dishwasher and washing machine( but only 2 capsules for each) . The showers were very good.

The kitchen equipment was not that good as we were self catering and not enough cutlery or mugs for the 5 of us. Place mats need replacing and only 3 provided. Only 4 mugs just 5 knives and forks. No tea towel provided. The doors had very strong hinges and were very noisy as they banged shut, if you were not strong enough to stop them!

Beautiful , peaceful setting and everyone very helpful and friendly . It was full of wildlife with birds claiming their territory and flowers in carpets against stunning sea views.

The hotel is very dated and in need of some TLC and a refresh. The room was clean but worn/tired. The breakfast was good but normal buffet style with a coffee machine would have been better to have fresh tea /coffee served. The Car parking was an additional cost which was surprising and unexpected based on the cost of the hotel room.

Room was dirty, shower was mouldy and leaking, towels were with holes and dirty as well. Bed matrass was very discomfortable. For the price I paid, and for 4 star hotel I was very disappointed.
