Standard English breakfast with some additional choices. The hotel has a restaurant that serves good quality meals. There are food options available even for those who check in or return back to the hotel late in the night. The hotel is a bit outside the city but serves well for those visiting the nearby commercial areas. There were some families as well who appeared to be having a good time. The hotel has a swimming pool, gym and even a play area for younger kids. The rooms are good sized, comfortable bed and no noise at all. Hotel staff is ever willing to help and serve guests with a smile 😊 Majority of the rooms are located on the ground floor- good for those who are not comfortable climbing the stairs. Overall a complete hotel quite unexpectedly in the outskirts of Chester.
Negative section of review
Nothing to complain about. The hotel is vast and most of the rooms are located on the ground floor so you may have to walk a bit to reach your room but I don’t think it’s worth complaining at all.

This was a very characterful room furnished in a beach hut sort of way. It had tea and coffee making facilities and very comfortable beds. It was in a quiet location with no passing traffic but was close to a good pub which served nice food. The hosts were on site and were very friendly. It was very clean. There was information about local attractions. There was crockery and cutlery provided so useful to bring your own breakfast.
Negative section of review
There isn’t anything to criticise about this place providing you understand that you are getting somewhere clean with character and charm rather than somewhere posh. The option of breakfast might have been nice but so long as you come prepared with food or are prepared to go to the pub this isn’t a problem.

We stay here a lot with our Lurcher en route to Europe as Eurotunnel is 20 mins away. The pub is charming. Lovely comfortable, tasteful rooms. Excellent bed, scumptious food and warm hospitality every time.

All good, beds ok. No television (on the other hand also a plus ;-).

Perfect for an event at the 02 just a short walk. The food was amazing and all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

It had easy access to a large carpark. Even though straight off the motorway it was surprisingly quiet.

Continental breakfast was acceptable. Food in bar was excellent. Everywhere was clean and tidy.

Door to ensuite was disappointing.

All very comfortable, meet our needs, good access to airport.
Negative section of review
The kitchen is poorly equipped, only one large pot, chipped plates, insufficient crockery for six people to eat at the same time, unless one uses chipped plates which are unhygienic. The bins were very full and smelt as though they hadn't been empties in a while.

Really cosy stay in a nice historic village in the nature

Didn't get all entry instructions at the time but all solved quickly
