The breakfast choices were very good, the team member with short blonde hair was great, she was ALWAYS welcoming, helpful, polite, she replenished breakfast items, cleared tables and was very efficient. The breakfast team staff were all efficient. Josh on the front desk was excellent. He was always polite, helpful, professional, great sense of humor and made me feel very welcome. Outstanding customer service. Everyone at the front desk was polite and efficient. The gentleman that handled my check out was polite, helpful, kind and I appreciated him asking how my stay went. Very impressed with the front desk team work. Also the gentleman that handled maintenance regarding my shower inquiry was excellent. Super nice and very helpful.

The room was pretty basic, I think it needed some redecorating. Very nice bathroom though. And I liked the location. Overall nice room.

Pretty much everything! From the very warm welcome we were given when checking in to the location which is great, the whole hotel was spotless. The room was beautiful and was a fantastic price!! The standout though was Sean in the morning greating us for breakfast. So welcoming and amd friendly. We were there for the Take That gig and he had so many Take That puns it was brilliant.

We appreciated the location of the accommodation near Oxford, Blenheim Palace, Abingdon etc., its cleanliness and comfort. Mrs Adepoju, to whom we spoke only once, lives next door so that she is available if her assistance is needed – and the welcome basket is a thoughtful gift.

Everything, it was a beautiful property with excellent decor . The host were extremely accommodating and the breakfast was superb using local sourced fine produce. I cannot recommend highly enough.

That we got a little confused on how to get there due to two streets one being Hay Lane (the best way there and closest parking to the hotel) versus the other south of Lydiard Park (which was what the satnav took us to and then could not go further due to it being the park).

The rooms are now tired and carpets generally grubby and beds poor quality or worn out. Needs investment at this stage though price reflects what you get …it’s not overly expensive. The worst feature was that in room 32 and 18 the internet was flaky to say the least. Actually it was impossible to log in from either room. The problem appears to be the sign in crashes in the rooms, so the only place in the hotel where I could log-in was the restaurant and entrance area. I requested to move from room 32 for that reason and it was stated very rudely that I may not understand how to log-in. My baggage and laptop plus 2 iPads were relocated to room 18 where I found the same problem. As stated it was possible and easy to login in the restaurant and entrance. I do find it intolerable in this day and age that hotels can allow themselves to run poor wifi and then have the audacity to suggest that the guest may not know what he/she is doing. Oh well, with that and generally run down rooms, I may delete this hotel despite having stayed there once or twice a year for some years.
