The property looked just as good as the photographs and we loved the modern Zakopane-style interiors. A bonus was the Tatra mountains view from the mezzanine window! Everything was clean, modern, and felt safe. The host video-called us to guide us to the accomodation parking, as the road was closed due to upgrades, this was very kind. Although, it would have been useful to know about this detour in the pre-arrival message exchange beforehand.”

  Our welcome from Susan made us feel like we had arrived home. The room was fresh and spacious with a very comfy bed. They have a really beautiful bar downstairs where it would be lovely to relax in after a wet day hiking. You order your breakfast from a wide range the night before and it’s lovely to have everything brought to your table in the morning. There was a feeling of calm competence in this hotel and we would definitely return.

  The host, location and room were great. The bed was a little too soft for us, and the plumbing was a bit noisy (but the building is very old). The roast supper and breakfast were tasty and generous.

  Very spacious and clean, location was excellent for local places to eat and very close to transport to get around London. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to messages.

  We could have done with some extra towels and pillows. Very dark in all the rooms. Were disappointed that there wasn’t on site parking as advertised, but the host was apologetic about the error. The extra we had to pay for secure parking 15mins away blew out the cost a bit.

  When we arrived it was cold in caravan, had to sleep on sofa for first night as had to use fire/heater to keep warm. But we got got in touch with them and advised us on what to do with the heating and then it was all good
