We were doing the Mendip Way and this was perfectly situated. Very clean. Check in was good. Directions to get there were good and details for parking etc were good.

We couldn’t find a tea towel! Not to be picky, because everything else was perfect, but we would have preferred to dry the dishes off.

The hotel and the room were freshly painted and clean. Was on the third floor so very quiet. Will stay here again as close to Paddington and good restaurants.

The property was much smaller than I thought by looking at the photos and the building at the back which was in a terrible condition put me off . If I had seen that I would not have booked . The bulb in the bedroom ceiling light is flickering . None of the windows opened .

Hot!! Aircon not working and they are obviously aware as there are small fans available. I phoned reception about it but no answer. Visited reception and told them about it, said someone would look at it. Nobody came. Room was 27 degrees, couldn’t sleep.

My smart watch was stolen from my room. Once I checked out the next morning and realised it was left in the room, i called the hotel but the staff were rude and very unhelpful in looking for my watch. A staff member checked the room, I called back 5 minutes later and they said it was not there. It was about a 2-4 minute walk to the room from reception so I had trouble believing they checked the room thoroughly. I called back again in the afternoon to find out if housekeeping found my watch and was rudely told it had not. Would not recommend staying there.
