Very good welcome, we were shown to our room and everything we needed to know was explained. Car parking very close by, but no longer free! The Mug House stopped giving out car park passes a couple of years ago. Wasn’t expensive and not a problem. Breakfast is an extra £10 per person. The building is 16th century, updated in Georgian times, and it’s also Listed so it’s full of wonderful character features!

The host, Monika. It was truly a pleasure staying at her property. One of my best experiences ever. Monika is such a delightful person to have a conversation with, she was more than helpful. Monika shared recommendations about the area, transportation, meals, etc. It was indeed a smooth and memorable stay. Highly recommend the homestay, for both, short and long stays.

Absolutely nothing, not as described,photos not genuine. No balcony up 5 flights of stairs also not listed in the ad. Cracked wallpaper and plaster and fireplace coming off the wall. Front of the building was constantly open so felt very unsafe shower door handle swinging off I’ve complained and asked for help and had absolutely no response

The staff is exceptional. The reservation manager made anything possible to accommodate us and respond to any extra wishes! The second morning already, the lady at the restaurant remembered our room numbers and our breakfast preferences. The whole team is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. We will be back!

Great location. Room was clean and was quite spacious considering it was a single room. The bottle of water and chocolate in the room was a nice touch and also I loved the water bottle refill stations in the hotel. Would stay again.

Well equipped. Spotlessly clean. All the appliances you could need. Lovely spot just 200yds from a beach. Beautiful, safe, large garden for kiddies. Very comfortable beds. Good WiFi in all rooms. We had a fantastic holiday!!!

My father was taken ill after I booked and staff found him a ground floor room, to help accessibility. Mush appreciated. The views are exepetional. The weather was much better than when we stayed a few years ago.
