The Location is perfect, if you like walking you can literally walk to some tourist spots. Near to Supermarket as well as some eatery places and coffee shops. St. James Park is the nearest underground station and Victoria Station is also nearby. Fly in to Gatwick and use Victoria Express to London Victoria Station. Fly out from to LHR and use train going to airport. ( St. James(no lift) - Victoria - Green Park /Jubilee Line-Heathrow ).

The lift, nothing wrong with it but you'll be concern it case it got stuck. All thru out my stay i didn't find or see any one in the reception... which worries me incase the elevator got stuck. the contact number on the elevator wall is the service company servicing the lift. Stayed for 6 nights use it only twice when I check in and check out even i am on the 4th flr.

The location is perfect everything is within walking distance from the apartment. The apartment is superbly equipped with everything you could possibly need and is eco-friendly which is terrific. Wonderful views from the living room and main bedroom. Felt super secure. Loved all the wonderful little touches that made it feel homely.

The stairs to get to apartment 2!. Quite steep for anyone with mobility issues. Would be helpful for this to be stated in the information on booking as this has been raised directly with the management.

The outside of the building is beautiful, as are the hallway and library ( breakfast room) . Some of the original features are still there. Shout out to the receptionist Sue, the rose of the building.

It’s in a poor state of repair. No fault of the staff, it needs a good cash injection from the owners. Also, it would have been appreciated to have had a knock on the door before unlocking and entering from the two repairman to look at the possible cause of the leak in the en-suite. Luckily our beds were hidden by a partitioned wall. It was about half nine in the morning and my daughter and I were still lying in our beds, but at least we got to hear the good news of someone paying their mortgage off!

Beautiful house with easy to find street parking. Very convenient for trips to the local area. Host was very easy to contact with any queries.

Nothing of any significance! For my tastes there were a few too many decorative items, which took up space where I was trying to unpack. And there is no bathroom extractor fan, so it took a while to demist after a shower.

The location was the primary reason we stayed and because the hotel had a sauna / steam / pool.
Negative section of review
The parking is totally inadequate. Unthinkably so. Also the steam room was broken. The pool and sauna were fine and breakfast adequate. Though why can’t they serve pork sausages? We are in England. We eat pork. Alternatives can be provided but why pander to the woke brigade to say that we have to change everything to accommodate others when others do nothing to accommodate us? I guess the picture of an oriental gentleman dressed as a caricature of an Englishman in the foyer is a clue??

The location was brilliant. Opposite Albert Dock and a five minute walk from the bus station.

The bed had to be the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. Lumpy and hard. Did not help with my existing back and knee problems. Also, in the lift and reception area, smell of stale cooking.

Spacious and comfortable.
