This property is set in beautiful countryside on a working farm - there is also the added bonus of a farm shop on site. The Old Pantry is connected to the farmhouse and has been remodelled to a very high standard. The accommodation is well equipped and the hosts are really lovely and helpful. It was exceptionally clean, and there was lovely white bedding - always a bonus in my opinion! Lovely walks through the countryside and the separate enclosed garden makes it ideal if you have a dog :-)

The only constructive bit of criticism is that the property lacks somewhere to sit comfortably and relax of an evening which is ok if you’re comfy watching the TV in bed I suppose - I’m not sure if the furniture could be reconfigured somehow to allow for a small two seater sofa or two easy chairs?

The staff were friendly helpful and knowledgeable. I am coeliac and great care was taken to ensure my food was gluten free. There are a choice of places to eat in the hotel and we experienced three plus room service which were great. We had a lovely view of Elizabeth Castle and shops were a short walk from the hotel. We used the pool in the spa facilities which was good. I will definitely stay there again.

Brilliant location , minutes from the sea front and also the town centre . Parking wasn’t included but as a mid week stay I easily found free parking in the surrounding streets within minutes of arriving (mid afternoon). Paul was very helpful and friendly and breakfast ( cake, coffee, cereal and juice ) was a nice bonus .

Not very clean in bathroom not enough tea coffee etc for two people for two nights , says there staff on a night time but door open no staff around garden is nothing like the picture it’s overgrown badly and filled with rubbish no sitting area like what the hotel pictures say
