The location of this apartment was fantastic. Only a few steps to the shops, restaurants and tube station, and from there so central to most of London. The apartment itself was light, clean, stylish and very comfortable. Great comms with our hosts, who were very responsive. We'd def stay here again.

Positives: 30 minute walk to the beach and 20 minute walk to city centre. The flat was incredibly clean and decorated to a high standard. Bed's were comfortable, and the showers were great. Would stay again!

Minor issues: Can be very noisy at night with nonstop traffic. If you're a light sleeper, it's worth bringing some ear plugs! There weren't any cleaning products to clean kitchen surfaces or bin bags. Issue: Not very impressed paying £300 as a security deposit the day of arrival with threats of losing the booking if not paid. We chose to stay in Brighton as a staycation holiday, and having £300 taken off us cut into our holiday budget massively. I understand needing protection in case things go wrong, but surely there's another way of securing the money rather than putting people out of pocket the day they arrive! I'm now expected to wait 7 days to have that money returned to me!? I haven't had this issue with other properties I've stayed in. I felt the need to take a photo of every room before we left out of fear of not getting my money back!

Location was good for town centre. Bar for the football on TV (big screen). Car parking (limited) at rear of hotel.

We paid for breakfast prior to arrival. We went looking around for the breakfast at 7.15am on the first morning to be told by the cleaner that it wasn't served until 9am. We had to be at work for 8am. Room (13) had stale smell as if it hadn't been aired for a long time, it was very dated and carpet didn't appear the cleanest. Shower head needs replaced (unclean).

The rest of hotel was like a maize and room was ok. Basic. At around 11pm the fire alarm went off..then went off. Freaked out. Another resident told me was false alarm. The staff should have notified all people staying at hotel was false alarm. Was very frightening and I couldn't get to sleep til 3.30am No room service
