The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.
3
After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

I thought the bed was going to be too soft for me but had an amazing night's sleep. The breakfast selection was brilliant. Lots of fresh fruit, cereal and whatever cooked selection you could think of.

Rooms were well fitted out, the cosy room we had really was cosy on the bed front, with risk of one of us falling out most of the night

Breakfast organisation was just chaotic, you are asked to provide a booking time at check in. We got down early and weren't allowed to come in and sooner due to it being fully booked (half empty) they said when they seated us that some hadn't showed for their earlier slot which is fine. But overheard others say they arrived on time and got told off because they were "late" or weren't allowed to sit with their party who were in different rooms. Was just a bit odd, the 2 on front of house service just made an awful lot more work for themselves than needed. It is all to be ordered, where just having one table of self service continental would make the operation and the work load much slicker and reduce the amount of work.

5am trolleys been wheeled up the alley so was woken up then 7.30 the window cleaner was round doing the windows again was woken up. The bar was the biggest let down said real ale pub but there was no ales as you would expect to see for a old place built in 1455 just tap larger and bottles 1 normal pump with a ale looked like a larger pump was, too modern looking looks like going into a modern pub which was a, shame and closed at 10pm anywhere else we have been if your a resident they would off another drink but then the owner brought the locals another beer Maybe I may use the hotel again but not the facilities as a last resort I know it is under new management but when you look it up even on Google there could be a saying on there old hotel but very modern pub

quite an expensive hotel. pre stay communication was poor. i was sent emails with links that were deleted or did not work. i tried to check in on line but my reservation number from them was unrecognized. i emailed the hotel with a couple of questions and did not get replies
