The studio was beautiful, with great access to the town and was very easy to get to by car or foot (follow the Western By Pass to avoid the hills). We had a lovely weekend and will definitely be checking in again if we return to Totnes. Check out the Bull Inn and the Curator for lovely meals nearby, or follow any of the hosts' excellent recommendations.

Had a very nice meal followed by a few drinks at the bar, just what is required after a 4 hour journey. The breakfast was really nice I just wish I was more hungry. Finally I lost my glasses but didn't realise till half way into the trip. I rang the hotel & the have informed that they have & are happy to post them back to me

We stayed in the sea view double room. The location was excellent, close to the port. Not a lot of choice of nice restaurants to eat at night, we ended up in a local fish and chip restaurant, which for the money was okay.

The breakfast at Neptune's did not match our expectations, there was not much choice in the buffet fruit and continental selection, the quality of the sausage and bacon was average and the coffee was instant, not fresh. The water for the shower, changed from cold to very hot and it was difficult to have a good shower (we should have addressed this at the time - I hope it has been picked up as it could be dangerous). The bathroom was tiny, although okay for me and my partner a bigger person might struggle. The TV would not switch off, which I did report.

A nice buffet breakfast and the room wasn’t busy as we were warned it might be - no queues. Very friendly, polite and professional staff in reception. Nice clean room.

The hotel/pubs location is very pretty, it's beautiful to view it whilst eating breakfast. The staff were lovely and so was the food

I received a different room type from booking despite confirming via the booking agent a few times, nothing was mentioned when we checked in. The whole site is tired and a full refresh would make the whole experience so much nicer - this was a common conversation over heard at breakfast time

Staff don’t seem professional at all. And the restaurant for dinner seemed more like a cafe as no tablecloths , candle lighting . Seemed very casual and diner like .
