We had a walking shower room and the water was luke warm plus there's a leaking on the pipes Also we had some vouchers for a free coffee and when we went down in to the lobby and have been waiting for 10 minutes as nobody was behind the bar , we had to ask the receptionist if there's someone available to serve us a coffee, so a member of staff came over saying that unfortunately we couldn't have our coffee because the machine was broken since Friday. Seriously ? 🙄

The care and attention to detail shown to us by every member of staff was exceptional. Staying in a hotel with a dog for the first time was a little concerning but we couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. The special touches given to their canine guests make this place very special. We ate in the restaurant both evenings and the standard of the food was superb. The rooms are of a very high standard so 10 / 10 on every level.

The hotel concept is sound, the check in procedure was professionally dealt with and we were shown to our lovely room. We booked in for dinner which was of very good quality, drinks in the bar were also served without any issue, in a lovely cozy setting. The room was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep.

The breakfast concept is a huge cop out. It displays laziness from the arrival into the dining area at breakfast time. There was no one to greet us or to explain where anything was. When someone did come out of the kitchen, she was so distracted by everything else, that the plates had run out and the tea and coffee machine had run out of water. The offer of a continental breakfast with cold - yep you read that right - cold. - fried eggs or bacon is a huge no no! Especially in a traditional setting. A full Scottish breakfast, either as an a la Carte, or as a buffet, should be offered. The toasters, which appear to be domestic type machines, also took a long time to produce any toast, OK when you’re at home but not for a setting where lots of people end up queueing up for toast.

We absolutely loved the staff and the hotel. The location is stunning - right near the water. The food was great and the room definitely exceeded our expectations! We didn't want to leave and will certainly be coming back soon!

The hotel was beautifully clean and the breakfast was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially those helping at breakfast. It’s a very nice hotel.

The room was extremely hot, but apparently there was a control on the wall, which we did not see 🙄. The bed was 2 singles pushed together, which was a bit uncomfortable at times. I was expecting it to be a double, so I was a little disappointed. The single beds were comfortable, falling down the gap, not so comfortable.
