French doors opening up onto the balcony over looking the sea and the harbour. To wake up in the morning straight from bed overlooking the sea and the views. The cleanliness, friendly welcoming staff. Peace and quiet and dog friendly. Loved every minute. Thank you all at Mariners for making our stay so lovely can't wait to come back..🥰

Good location, decent walk to University colleges and river Cam, lots of options for eating. Small Sainsbury's up the street. Good communal kitchen facilities with lots of fridge space. Reception staff very nice, don't blame them for the negative issues.

Single bed duvet on double bed, requested additional blanket to be told they don't have any. No hot water throughout the building in the morning. No-one answering calls to either number, reception not open til 9am. Boiled kettle to fill bathroom sink to wash in, plug faulty and sink would not hold water. Room small but functional.

Great location opposite the train station. Bus stop is right outside hotel as well. Plenty of shops with retail park 300mts approx. Plenty pubs for a good selection of beers & whiskey.

No breakfast was included but the kitchen was perfect to make our own with room for all five of us to cook.

Looked absolutely nothing like the pictures the sink that was once white is now an orange/brown colour the ‘white’ net curtains are filthy and to top it off a parking ticket for using the car park that apparently should of been mentioned had a charge which wasn’t made clear to me

The hotel chose to ignore the fact I specifically requested a room with air conditioning due to my health issues, also a fridge, which I paid a premium for and rang and double checked the room had the facilities. After travelling and on check in I was told the room had been upgraded, again prior to checking in and without prior notice, to a nice room but without air conditioning and a fridge, the exact things I requested, again due to health issues.. Having no other option as we had travelled hours and arranged activities, also all other hotels being booked up, we had to use the room. 2 days later I left in early hours to get home, still recovering days later. I have messaged the hotel about this but been ignored.

The bathroom looks like someone commited a murder inside it. Blood stains on the walls, Paint falling apart. If someone pees on the curtain, replace it, don't "clean it" with water, it stinks. The bed needs to be replaced it's U shaped. No broom or mop. No salt/pepper/oil. Windows are paper thin so all the noise from the streets will wake you up. The roof is paper thin so you can hear the upstair neighbours even walking. The person welcoming you to the apartment does NOT speak a word of English.
