The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.
2
When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

We looked at many properties before deciding to book the Loughview for 5 nights and it far exceeded our expectations. Steve and Orla have created an environment that is so warm and welcoming. A spacious bedroom with a very comfortable bed, large bathroom with a walk in shower and a sitting room with a view that is breath taking. We enjoyed the continental breakfast that was offered every morning, especially the coffee!! Don't hesitate, just book it, you will be glad you did.

Every thing was perfect

I know this one quite well, since formerly employed at the University next door. Decent price in the off-peak period of the year. I believe it is popular for its health and spa facilities and bar/restaurant, but I have never used them and just need a place to sleep and work. The rooms are generally fine, entering the modern age with adequate power points. A bath rather than just a shower is a nice touch.

Travelled around the UK a great deal this year, staying in about 20 places. This one is an upper end hotel but a fridge would be welcome. You can get decent meals on campus just a short walk away, much more cheaply than at the hotel - there is Indian food at the Sultan, noodles, and a Serbian kebab place there that are nearly always open. And much cheaper breakfasts on offer too on campus. The Pizzetta Republic hardly ever closes.

The room was clean, with all the necessities, the breakfast was particularly tasty and filling and the staff very friendly.

Attitude of front office staff. These days people don’t smile or am I missing something. The front office Indian guy with a beard failed to smile even once while checking in. He must have thought he was doing a great job by giving me all the info. But unfortunately all falls apart when you don’t make people especially your guests comfortable.
