  Good food for breakfast and dinner, and nicely presented. Good square room (14) with comfortable bed and nice spacious shower-room, looking out over the small remaining lake - now in the property next door and not maintained so well. There's a nice terrace and gardens too, although we didn't really have the time there to enjoy them.

  Breakfast was a little 'prescricted', picked from an item-priced menu and served (nicely) at table. With a small-ish place it's difficult/impractical/wasteful to put on a full buffet, but things like toast & marmalade really should be included in whatever is the B&B price rather than an extra £1.50 (or whatever) onto the bill. That's just silly! Apart from this irriation it was a nice stay, although we were a bit disturbed by banging doors during the early morning - better door closers needed!

  Had to leave at 06.30 so was only offered a take away continental type brekfast. The brekfast bag wasn't great for the price and not being able to have a cooked brekfast was a big disappointment, So much that I wouldn't use the hotel again if I had to be up early again and miss a cooked breakfast.
