The check-in process, having to get the key from nextdoor, was fine and the man who greeted us at reception was polite and friendly. The room was dated but clean and the tea and coffee facilities were decent. The hotel was in the perfect spot for getting to the North Euston Hotel where we were attending a party. There was plenty of on road parking in the area.

Great location. Vicinity of bus and train stations, shopping possibilities and restaurants. Living room with free coffee.

Thin walls, you may hear neighbors in the night. Can be fixed by double shot of whiskey for a good sleep.

Not much I am afraid. The hotel location is very good. Quiet but easily accessed. The car park is generous.

Here we go!! How anyone in their right mind could call this room a 'Superior Single'. Yes, it is superior to sleeping in a cardboard box under an under-pass, but absolutely nothing else. Most important first: The bed - a tiny single with minimal bedding and only 1 pillow. The mattress was a thin wire framed very uncomfortable affair (I booked 4 nights but only stopped 1, I did not want another sleepless night). The entertainment - The TV by todays standards was pocket sized, and the free-view picture was poor, apart from the BBC channels. The furniture - there was none. I tell a lie, there was a steel framed chair the type you found in a doctors waiting room in the 1970s, very uncomfortable. The fitted furniture - (wardrobe etc). Was again 1970s mass produced chipboard dark veneer roughly painted grey to look modern. Poor repair. The consumables - The minimum 2 bags of each Tea/coffee no sweeteners, 1 mug and 2 plastic cups. The bathroom - Was not a bathroom, no bath. The obligatory mould, poor decoration, and just 2 tablets of soap 1 towel The lighting - 1 ceiling light and 1 wall light (the wall light did not work). The light switches all felt very unsecure and old. The room - was large, but this only emphasized the fact of all the above - there was nothing in it!! How is this a superior room??
