The room was excellent, small but sufficient. Clean, modern, comfortable. Air con worked perfectly, could just hear the faint rumble of the tube but nothing that would disturb anyone. Bathroom was clean, shower was hot. Beds were comfy! WiFi was brilliant, we ran multiple devices with no issues. 3 plugs in the room with 2 extra USB points in each plug. WhatsApp service to reception if you need anything, we requested more pillows that were delivered quickly. Check in staff were lovely.

Everything about the stay was perfect until we came to check out. I'd been told 2 days before arrival that luggage holding was £10. Which, I've never been charged luggage hold before anywhere! Then, at check out, I was told it was £15, PER BAG. including a small carrier bag, which we were charged for too. The reception staff was rude, wouldn't uphold the price given, or give concession for the carrier bag as a gesture of good will. And to make it worse, when we went to collect our bags, we were taken to the luggage hold room and allowed to choose our bags without any checks that were were taking the bags matching our tickets. So we didn't feel it was even that secure for the extortionate price. It would make me question whether to stay there again as it took the price of our stay up considerably!!

The property was clean, room was perfect! Great location and staff were really friendly and easy to talk to. We were staying for the Fred whitton and wasn’t sure where to leave the bike ready for the very early start on Sunday morning however - they were very understanding and lets us bring the bike in

Our room looked out to a view over the kitchen roof and beyond to the fields. However, the ventilation ducts on the roof created a constant hum while the kitchen was working. However, this stopped around 10pm and didn't start again until 7.45, and if the window was closed, it did not pose a problem. Shower nozzle difficult to position for comfortable showering experience, seemed loose in holder.

Previous guests mentioned a welcome pack. We had tea bags, coffee but nothing else. Not even milk!
