Shower was terrible took ages to work out how it worked then when we did it trickled water out definitely not a power shower. The water pressure was really bad using all of the taps as well. The hidden sink behind the wardrobe area was a waste of time. The whole room is badly finished decoration wise it could do with a make over. Very disappointed will definitely not stay again.

The hotel was right on the waterfront and we had ocean view rooms. It was walking distance to lots of cafes and restaurants and good walking track for prams wheel chairs. We loved sitting on the veranda having coffee or drinks.The live music on the pier with food available was great.

The breakfast manager was grumpy but other staff were lovely. Parking was terrible and they sold us a parking ticket that we couldnt ever find anywhere to park.

The layout of room, facilities in room and loved the shower. Ideal if you need to do a bit of work on your laptop too. Great location 2 mins from station and loads of shops, food places. Quick to get into central London too!

No lift which would have been ok, except I have bad hip and knees so climbing stairs can be difficult but not impossible as you can hold onto bannister. Interior is nice and bright and well maintained. I had everything I needed. Ray was so helpful as I had difficulty using the codes! I will say that l because of my condition, the beds are too low for me and mattress tad too soft, more of a Futon bed frame type feel so I struggled getting up! The bed is only thing I would upgrade but this is just a personal preference! I will certainly book again given the great price and amenities.

The location was perfect, as well as the views from our room. Lovely bar and restaurant downstairs. Rooms were clean, and towels were changed each day. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was basic and could do with a small refresh. There are only 2 plug sockets for a family room, which was a fight to charge bits up. Even though there is lots to choose from from the menu, the food was hit and miss, our party ordered 3 full English breakfasts, and all were different or had bits missing. But it was a very busy weekend with the festival.

we were not allowed to access the room until 4.00pm on the dot. there was an electronic security lock that wouldn't allow access without a 30pound early check in fee which was in effect right up until 4pm! I spoke to the team regarding just dropping off our luggage, we had 4 suitcases, and they knew we were going to arrive about 2pm but they were not interested in helping us out. the room was comfortable there was no issue there, but the customer service team were arrogant and didn't want to help us at all in getting in early or dropping off our suitcases into an empty room. this if they had helped us out would've been awesome even an hour early but no....it was 30 pound even after 3pm. If you wish to speak to them, you are recorded which I understood and mentioned that I hope this recording goes to senior management as a lesson in being decent hosts willing to help out international tourists. We didn't hire the room for a party, they knew we were international tourist, but they couldn't give a toss about helping us out even though we paid in advance, gave a deposit on our credit card and had I.D. sent to them. Very poor.

The phone in the room didn’t work nor did the air con which made it an uncomfortable night. The cooked breakfast was great but they ran out of croissants and pan au chocolates an hour and a half before service ended - good job we didn’t want one!
