This pod was everything we were hoping for. It was so cosy and well equipped and we had a fantastic 4 days there. Our dogs absolutely loved the freedom to run and explore and the views and the grounds are stunning. The location is so peaceful - we could open the doors and hear the birds chirping. The owner came to visit us on arrival and offered extra crockery etc as my mum lives nearby and wanted to pop over. We were also delighted to have been offered a late check out which helped as my partner was working and could continue making calls. We would love to come again!

We had dinner at the hotel which was ok. Breakfast was pleasing, with a good selection to choose from. The staff serving breakfast were very attentive. The room was comfortable and clean and liquid refreshments were on offer. However, there was no consistency with what refreshments received with our friends room refreshments not being replensished. We also had a nice bathroom. However, this was a bathroom for a disabled person. There was a selection of shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

I stayed in this hotel after staying in a Marriot at Bournemouth a few years ago, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I felt this hotel lacked little, special toughes on offer at Bournemouth, such as miniture cookies on arrival. These little treats I could live without, if the rest of my experience was pleasurable. However, the hotel the bed was awfull! The matterace was soft, lumpy and sagged in the middle. This caused my husband and I to roll in the centre of the bed. I would expect at least a pleasurable sleeping experience in a Marriot Hotel, considering it is not cheap to stay in. The quilt cover was also torn and when the bed was made after our first night, I didn't feel the bed was made to a hotel standard. There is a lack of consistency with resources on offer. Our friends who were staying in the hotel with us. shampoo, conditioner and body wash bottles were empty over their two night stay and their room also lacked toilet roll. We didn't have time to complain during out stay because my daughter was getting married and we didn't have time. However, we did mention it on our departure.

The location was lovely and the out look over the river Severn couldn’t have been better. The location was also very good to visit different attractions eg. National Trust and museums.

One single bed broken, other beds very uncomfortable. Curtains in bedroom too short. Garden very overgrown, couldn't use. Neighbours very noisy, all through the night. Cars had eggs thrown all over them whilst parked outside.

It was miserable, grubby, smelly, dull and needs a real update. The cutlery filthy, the bathroom falling apart and tatty. The beds uncomfortable, the windows full of mould. The bar, gross, sticky and grubby tables and stunk of BO. Dirty glasses, cups in the bar and it was just a really uncomfortable, unwelcoming atmosphere.

Hard to find entrance. Looked like a night club door. Decor more style over substance. Room dark. Twin beds pushed RIGHT up against each other. Receptionist came and pushed them apart but about 2 inches and said if we wanted them more apart to do it ourselves. Had no idea about restaurants in the area.
