Staff were very helpful couldn’t do enough to make our stay special for us. The room was good a very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was lovely couldn’t of asked for more Thank you for making our stay special.

The only issue was that when one of us tried to have a bath the tap didn’t fill the bath, the water flow was very poor. The shower was good though.

Requested a ground floor room. Unfortunately were on the top floor Room and views stunning but had 41 stairs to reach our room and being elderly was not so easy

It’s very old and run down. I was very disappointed with the spa, it was soo dirty. I couldn’t even bare to walk all the way into the female changing room. It’s FULL of RUST. The radiators, the lockers all rusty and old. It’s very disgusting. I didn’t even use it because I felt uncomfortable. Went straight to my room. The room is dated. Chips on the walls and door. The carpet is soo dirty and old. It also has kitchen tiles for flooring in the room ???. The view was horrendous, feels more like a hostel. Very bad facilities and no where near worth the price. It’s got a nice outdoor area to walk in but they need to invest in refurbishing the whole building. I will not return or advise anyone to stay until they do. The pictures make it look a lot nicer than it is. I’m honestly surprised it’s a 4 star.

Deluxe cottage room was far from deluxe! Stained carpet that was coming up in areas, stained chairs, enamel coming off the bath, thick dust on rail on the wall, doors scuffed and marked, paint coming off side panel on the bath. Complained to front desk and told it was the 'cottage look' I would describe it as a 'run down B and B look'. We were shown to another 'deluxe cottage room' but still not great. We ended up paying for an upgrade to a room in the main hotel (because we couldn't cancel booking which we would have done) which had recently been renovated, much nicer but still lacking in detail to be classed as deluxe, only one bedside table so used the ironing board as one, limited tea/coffee and milk supplied, so enough for 1 cup of tea each, no drawers to put clothes in just hanging rails, shower screen was new but not well thought out as had about 2cm gap when closed, and access to the shower you have to slide past the toilet which also meant the bath mat couldn't be put down properly. When leaving and paying our bill I noticed we had been charged twice for the room upgrade so had to ask for a refund for that.

The kettle didn’t work in our room which was annoying to say the least. We managed to get our son to boil a kettle of water for us on the first evening but I didn’t want to disturb them early in the morning. No cups of tea for me in the morning 😥 boo hoo I just hope they replace it for the next
