Too be fair everything met our expectations including the sunny weather. We didnt have an evening meal just a toasted sandwich which was a door stop to treasure. The breakfast was as requested and very tasty. Overall it’s a great option for an overnight stay with a pub attached. Sky sports included in the main areas. It’s a pub with rooms expect great service with expectations limited lol I will stay here again and again

Great place to stay. Large room and comfy bed. Pub about 50 meters away. Host (Andrew) very welcoming and very knowledgeable of local areas. Loads of choice for breakfast. Wife and I loved our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Room was lovely but TV aerial was dodgy so bad picture, had to keep adjusting it. Heated towel rail didn't work. Stairs to room were too steep for older people. Felt very unsafe on them.

Car park at The Vine far too small, car was damaged by a third party within an hour of arriving. Didn't mind having dogs in the hotel but don't think they should be allowed in the restaurant.

Everything about the stay was perfect. Room was lovely, decorated to a high standard and clean. Food at the property was very nice.

Meals are excellent, we ate an evening meal and breakfast at the hotel and both meals were yummy. Great location, very quiet

We were on the top floor in a tiny room, #9. I wouldn't want to spend more than one night there as the room was too cramped

The location was great. Pretty much opposite the Roundhouse.

It smelt damp, there were damp patches. In a state of disrepair and wasn’t very clean. Underside of the toilet was disgusting. There was a pubic hair on the shower head. There were stains in one of the beds. The big bed was extremely uncomfortable.

The serenity. All you could hear were the birds.

The Internet didn't work despite the best efforts of Phil and Sue. As they were only two weeks into the job it was not fair to class this problem as important as it might have been to some. Missing tv want a problem but missing the news was.

Great location for me for visiting family.

No air con! There were electric fans, but I didn't spot them until the day we were checking out.

Good location for exploring the area.

Eating arrangements. Hotel caters for coach parties but struggles to get everyone into the breakfast room and non coach party guests have to wait for a slot. There are signs for a couple of named restaurants in the hotel but no menus on display and no information provided in the room. Decor needs improvement. The window frame in my room was badly rotted and it was a struggle to open the window just a few inches.

Staff were good

First room air conditioning not working so had to move rooms, I booked the hotel as there is a pool on arrival found out there was a charge to use it so this as was misleading apparently the charges are in the fine print parking was too expensive and was on a 24hr basis ie no half day parking rates. It was a bit of a walk to the centre of town.
