I was greeted by a very friendly owner, who advised me on places to eat etc. A lovely guest house, about 20 minutes walk from Inverness town centre. The owners obviously take a lot of pride in this beautiful guest house. It was decorated lovely and was very clean and tidy. The room had lots of refreshments, tea (great selection), coffee, including instant and a caffitiere, biscuits and mints, plus lots more. I did have to share a bathroom but it certainly wasn't a problem and the bathroom was immaculate, bright and airy. I didn't have breakfast as I had a flight to catch but the dining room was made up for breakfast and looked lovely. Would highly recommend.

Very smooth check in. Pleasant and friendly staff. The bed in particular was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. Tried the breakfast in the morning. Glad we did it was very good served in a lovely restaurant space. Healthy options available as well traditional breakfast.

No hot water in whole hotel during stay. Initially told this was temporary; some research on recent internet reviews revealed it was like this for 4 days (no advance notice from hotel). Given this fairly major problem, no manager on site until after 10am the next day. Requested an extra pillow but it didn't arrive for over an hour. TV didn't work, but given how long the pillow took to arrive didn't wait for engineer to fix before we went to sleep.

The accommodation a Luxury caravan was not really. The bed in the lounge had seen better days and there was only a table and 4 chairs making it difficult to all have a meal together important as we had the grandchildren with us
