This is charming accommodation in Wool. The guest rooms have many nice touches, beds are comfortable, and the bathroom/shower is spacious. Wifi is strong and fast. Breakfast, with homemade jam, is full and excellent. Communication was good and the host, Debbie, very kindly gave me a lift to The Tank Museum in Bovington, which is probably the reason you're visiting. If you have to walk to the museum and/or back, get Debbie to explain the walking path through fields, which greatly reduces the distance. There's a fine country pub, The Seven Stars, about a half-mile west, with good and filling good options.

The welcome at reception was excellent and speedy. The room (213) was as expected for the rate with all that we needed. The residents lounge off reception was a nice quiet area to sit, drink and read the paper after a long day out at Bletchley park nearby. We didn't use in-house restaurant, so can't comment on this. The menu looked good for the usual pub food, but we fancied Thai food which was at a place 50 yds up the street. The bed was comfy, and bathroom did its job. The nights sleep was very good. The breakfast the next morning was excellent and delicious. Checkout was as simple as could be.

Easy check in - friendly staff, free secure parking and good accomodation, including excellent breakfast. I ate elsewhere the night before but it was not a problem to have a relaxing drink amongst other guests having food once checked in.

I couldn't open the room windows which meant the room felt quite airless. I was otherwise pleased with the room and the temperature and curtains were otherwise fine. Good blackout on the curtains for long summer daylight at night / early mornings.

Absolutely Stunning house and gardens. The room was beautiful, quiet and very clean. A very memorable stay ( we have already booked our next stay ). Many thanks to Chelsea and Darren, who were great.
