Overall had a wonderful and relaxing stay, this apartment far surpassed my expectations especially finding this gem last minute and for a more than reasonable price. I am not familiar with the area so I did not know what to expect in regard to the location, but it was in the centre of Darlington with easy access to everything we could need and it was not a noisy area which was surprising but made for a comfortable and undisturbed sleep. The rooms were clean and had been looked after, we were provided with all the basics we would need and this was clearly thought about which made the extra touches appreciated. Checking in was very easy and straightforward which is always a bonus and the facilities within the apartment were of a high standard. I would love to come back to these apartments on another visit and would highly recommend to anyone wanting somewhere to stay in Darlington!

The only things to note for me personally were parking was a bit confusing, as I do not know the area I was unsure of where the 'free parking' was so I ended up downloading an app to pay for parking in a nearby car park, about a five minute walk away just to be safe. However, upon arrival I did see there was free parking on the street behind the apartments from 6pm to 8am Monday to Saturday and then free on Sunday, however I did not really want to be waking up early to move my car to an alternate location so decided to stay in the car park I had booked which was reasonably priced and then take advantage of the Sunday parking. The only other faults for me were, as much as the whole of the apartment was clean the surface of and buttons on the radiators were dusty, we did not need to use them, but it was just something that caught my eye and I feel the teabags (3) were a little sparse for two people but other than that the range of complimentary items offered was appreciated.

Apartment was very clean, beautifully decorated and furnished. Beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. Very quiet and homely. Coffee machine and capsules, tea and biscuits were provided. Would recommend Diane is a friendly and helpful host.

Breakfast is not bad for 3 pounds. Beds are comfy. Common areas are cool! Excellent location. And very friendly and helpful staff.

Beds are too noisy and narrow. It was difficult to reach the upper bed (I'm a short person). Doors are noisy too. I arrived late at night and it wasn't too easy to find my bed because lights were off and didn't want to wake up others.

One room was dusty and smelly. Whilst the other was okay. The shared bathroom was very clean. The kitchen and breakfast area was clean too. The breakfast was very basic but adequiate. The general opinion was the place needs a lick of paint:) it was in need of updating and the windows were difficult to open. The towels and bedding were clean. It cast £75 a night per room and Oban is an expensive place to stop. Parking cost £1 an hour. I asked for a fan and was giving one (thank you).
