The only way to leave a review is to first make a booking. That's how we know our reviews come from real guests who have stayed at the property.

When guests stay at the property they check out how quiet the room is, how friendly the staff are and more.

After their trip, guests tell us about their stay. We check for naughty words and verify the authenticity of all guest reviews before adding them to our site.

Friendly staff. The young lady who was looking after the bar, taking food orders and also serving was very attententive and apologised for the terrible meal. However she was left to oversee too many things and was also on at breakfast in the morning as well. But we couldn't fault her.

The place was run down. The front of the property looked as if it was closed and the signage had a letter missing. The rooms in the annexe were cold. The evening meal was awful. The pastry on the pie was hard with dried gravy which had oozed out on the top. The gravy was lumpy, and the veg was dried up.

Handy for the Albert Hall. Easy to get there on tube. Very smooth check in and check out.

The lift is minute, it felt cramped with 2 people and 2 small suitcases. Often a long wait. Staircases are narrow, dark and steep - but it is a town house so that is to be expected. Steps up to front door.

The campanile was friendly and perfectly located For all things needed for this trip.

Could have had another chair in room as one is not enough if two people are staying in a double room.

Good location, friendly staff, lovely and clean, lovely breakfast.

Not the quietest place due to other travellers.

The cooked breakfast was just ok and the buffet style choices ok

Breakfast The extraordinarily long walk to the room carrying luggage up and down stairs . If it wasn’t for Hattie offering to assist us when we arrived it would have been a struggle . I also thought covering up the glorious stained glass windows in the restaurant with pelmets was disappointing and detracted from the heritage of the building .

We asked to sit in a different part of the restaurant, there were plenty of empty tables but they refused our request.
