Excellent place to stay in the middle of everything. A walking distance to Hyde Park and Kensington high street. Quiet, clean with a charming garden. Excellent meals, welcoming staff. We also enjoyed very much the play room.

I paid for late check out however, at the normal check out time a cleaner walked in the room and a bit later someone from reception called the room to ask why we hadn’t checked out. She didn’t have a very nice attitude and made me feel I was doing wrong. I explained that I’d paid for late check out at which she questioned again saying it wasn’t on my booking, despite me checking when I’d checked in. Her attitude was very unfriendly and accusatory.

Could have paid separately for breakfast items. We don't eat big breakfasts so being able to just pick what you need would have been perfect, but not at £12 for a bacon sandwich

Personally I found the fried eggs rather cold every morning. Waiting staff tried hard but sometimes very disorganised, noticed problems with some people finding their allocated tables being used, presumably because people are being given specific times for their meals but come as and when...perhaps someone checking at door? Stairs difficult if you have poor mobility but staff more than willing to give you table service.

More details on how to find the actual property would be very helpful. Market Place is not easy to locate to someone who doesn’t know the town.
