Nicely located just a 10 min drive outside the city center, enough space, comfy beds and a nice living room! Overall very quiet location and always easy to find a parking spot right next to the apartment.

There is unfortunately no cleaning stuff in the apartment (simple broom would be enough) which is a pity if you stay multiple days. Dishwasher would also be nice.

The location was very convenient prior to our cruise, it’s great that there is a bar and a Starbucks on site. There is an Asda next door so it was great to purchase last minute essentials.

There was quite a bit of noise which seemed to come from above our room which may have been the gym as it seemed to be very busy. The room was very hot at night and despite all efforts we could not turn the temperature down as we could not ‘pair’ with it via Bluetooth

Friendly place to visit with all amenities spot on. Lovely little village in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere but once we arrived it was exactly as expected.

Beautiful estate, grounds are spectacular. Shower in room was very powerful, amenities smelt amazing as you would expect from penhaligon's products.

The swimming pool was very cold, we were advised that the pump had gone after mentioning the temperature to a staff member. However when we first attended the pool and signed in nothing was mentioned, we were travelling with a 2 and 7 year old so it took a long time to enter the pool to try and adjust to the temperature and then we had to leave as the youngest was shivering so much. My husband had returned to his locker and was unable to access with the code, he had to go to gym reception wet and cold with a towel to find that staff had reset the code as another member got confused which locker was theirs, resulting in it being reset, it would have saved a lot of unnecessary anxiety if they had put a note on the front to advise he needed to speak to a staff member to access it.
