Location of the hotel. Modern, clean room, tea & coffee facilities in room, air conditioner, safe provided. Great shower, toiletries provided. We walked everywhere during our visit e.g. Kensington Garden, V&A Museum, The Royal Albert Hall, Portobello Markets but the bus/taxi/tube were available close by. Some nice pubs and eating places close by too.

Breakfast was amazing. The pool and gym facilities were good and the rooms very comfortable. It had a lovely relaxed feel to the place.

We stayed in room 1. The toilet was not cleaned properly. The wall between room 1 and room 2 is super thin and the tv noise from room 2 kept us awake until 2 am. At checkout I reported the problem to be informed that the hotel was aware of the problem and that they needed to put notices in both rooms :( I then completed an online survey with the hotel and reported my issues to be told in response that as ' NOT MANY' guests had complained about the noise they would fix the problem when they next did a refurb. In my view if you receive more than one complaint about the same problem you should act immediately.

The whole building was in an awful state,very outdated & unbelievably grotty & dirty. We stayed on the 3rd floor & upon opening the door to the landing the smell of pee hit you... everywhere was filthy. I usually check out reviews before booking somewhere but sadly l hadn't done with this one. Can't understand how this place is a 3 star hotel?? Wow... no way could l use the"shower room" it was awful!! Couldn't wait to get home & cleanse myself.

No basic hospitality service like kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, milk. The room is advertised as deluxe, but it is very average. It is a cheap room though, so I'm not complaining. But must have the very basics.
