Beautiful location and grounds. Rooms were huge and very clean. The staff were brilliant and really looked after us, especially important as we had a baby in our group; nothing was too much trouble.

The location was great. The house was clean. BUT, the breakfast was nonexistent. Small cereal box without milk, jam but no bread and a few teaspoons of instant coffee. THIS IS A SELF CATERING!

We booked a B&B but basically found a self catering accommodation. For 2 people/ 2 days there were 4 small boxes of cereal but no milk, 4 pads of jam but no bread and a few teaspoons of instant coffee. We had to find a store to purchase breakfast that was supposed to be included. For the price we paid, that was very disappointing!!!

Room wasn’t well thought out e.g. one chair only for two people and no desk or table although plenty of space for them. Bed was pretty uncomfortable, just needed a topper to fix that.

Very loud, you can hear music and chatter, no chamber maid service, TV doesn’t work, no milk or fridge for morning tea, no hangers for clothes. If Schitt’s Creek is your thing then it is perfect. I travelled solo from the other end of the world for a funeral and needed somewhere to sleep and thankfully had noise cancelling headphones for the weekend

They didn’t have the room that I had booked and paid for and expected a family of 3 to share a bed. The room was booked and paid for 3 months in advance. People literally talking and laughing in the corridor all night so got no sleep whatsoever!!
