The George, a lovely place to stay to get away from the hectic modern life we all have. The George was one of those places where you feel like you have gone home to your comfy old slippers, lovely surroundings, a few locals in the bar area but not overcrowded. The room was fantastic, lovely and clean, with a balcony overlooking the river. The evening meal was spot on, cooked fresh and very tasty. The staff were lovely and friendly, even though being busy. Breakfast was lovely, the two staff that were working did an absolutely fantastic job even though the chef hadn't turned into work, they were absolutely rushed off their feet, they kept a smile on their faces and a kind word for the customers, well done guys.

We felt another member of staff during the early evening would have helped, the guys in the bar were busy with customers, without having to dash off and finish servicing rooms that hadn't been finished through the day. Also the guy that had been cleaning a hot tub came into the bar to talk to the staff, this was not an issue however the use of some colourful language would have been upsetting for families with younger children. At first glance the bar looked to be well stocked, whilst choosing our drinks we were told that any pump with glasses over were off sale, unfortunately this was over half.

This is a great location, loads of shops on the doorstep and a great view of the castle. Would recommend eating at the markets just around the corner. We had a warm welcome and great information of where to park and whats is around us. Also good communication. Place has lovely high ceilings and comfy beds.

The Leonardo Royal was an excellent location for our Glasgow trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Angus provided us with a map on arrival and suggestions for places to visit which we enjoyed. The room was comfortable and well stocked.

The meal in the restaurant was lovely, but we were surprised the prices was so much more than the menu prices on the menu in the room. Maybe you should explain this on the room menu Breakfast was also good

Good location, only 15 minutes walk from my next appointment, there are lots of local amenities nearby.

Place wasn't welcoming, no formal reception, no breakfast available! Regardless of advert. Room was noisy above a main road, curtains didn't cover the window properly no did they block the light, bathroom was dirty not willing to use the shower. Very poor room.
