- Room was comfortable but spartan. - Overall temperature was perfect throughout. - Staff could not help enough, and always with a smile. - Car-park felt safe and secure. - Perfect location for; Meadowhall, Fast Food Brands, Supertram, A quick getaway (2mins from M1), visiting the city if you don't want to stay in the centre (£6 in a taxi)

- No bedside power sockets which was a BIG surprise as the nearest socket was across the room, out of reach of all but the longest cables, which is manageable unless you require a socket for medical equipment (as my wife does). It's inconvenient waking up to a dead phone, but a dead wife is a bit of a no for me usually. Fortunately, the friendly and extremely helpful staff managed to rustle up an extension cord. - I'm pretty sure I read that 'indoor' parking was available, but I think that means that the car-park is barrier-controlled and fully fenced. I checked in the morning and my car confirmed that it spent the night outside. - Some might say that the Attercliffe area used to be a bit seedy, with lap-dancing bars, swinging clubs and strippers. Personally, I thought it was a lot more fun in those days, but they've practically all been squeezed out now, in the name of 'progress'.

Absolutely beautiful property in a fantastic location. Spotlessly clean with great facilities and lovely Mountain views. I cannot recommend enough. Communication was excellent too. Highly recommend this lovely little place and if I’m ever in that direction again I’ll make a bee line for this.

Very clean and charming house in a nice village and lovely surroundings. Good starting point for excursions to the coast, and to both the Lake District and the Yorkshire dales. Very comfortable beds. Great with a washing machine in the kitchen!

The most important things were great, so we would definitely start again, but we would have appreciated a simple coffee maker, a coffee press perhaps. It would also have been good with WiFi, since our own internet connection through our mobile phones in the location wasn’t very good. Also, the local food shop mentioned in the description had shut down, so the nearest food shop is in Grange-over-Sands. Information about recycling practices to foreign guests might also be helpful.

Great location near airport for an overnight stay. The spa area was great to relax in. Room was big. Bed was very comfortable. Staff friendly.

The built in shower/bath combo was very high in the family room, actually I would call it unsafe. We are young and found it hard to get in/out. If you had mobility issues the height of the step in/out would be dangerous
