room was nice, comfortable, and the bed was good. nice new shower area. The bar and restaurant is nice and good atmosphere. The building is quite old and looks great, and its in m high st more or less in Dunfermline so great access to shops pubs and restaurants.

Good quality of food on the full breakfast. Only thing was the soda bread but a bit hard to cut.

Great view from our room and room was clean and bed comfy

Staff were miserable, hotel shabby, rooms cramped, no air con and no fans in sweltering heat! Staff very unhelpful and disinterested. As for the cooked breakfast it was disgusting - one piece of burnt bacon a shrivelled sausage a fried egg and two greasy hash browns. £12.50 for a breakfast l wouldn’t give my dog!

Friendly staff, very helpful. Great breakfast selection.

shower pressure is good, location is convenient.

Washing machine took 5.5 hours for a full cycle, the tub is a death trap to get out of. It is SO slippery and the walls are very tall so it’s hard to get out of and the only thing to hold onto is a ceramic shelf or a ceramic sink so other slippery things. Sink was clogged upon arrival but hosts has someone come fix it within a few hours. Blood soaked tissues found on patio. Apartment is listed as soundproofed but we heard neighbours frequently. The place could really do with some upkeep and maintenance. There’s holes in walls, dirty walls, etc. A gallon of paint would go a long way. Heard someone trying to come in the front door twice late at night, if you stay make sure you lock doors behind you. Hosts CONSTANTLY message and text for DAYS leading up to arrival, during stay, and for departure. It is super annoying to get so many messages and questions about the purposes of the stay etc as if that made a difference to anything. Very unnecessary amount of messages and then having to use their own website to leave credit card info for a deposit is sketchy. Also, please note the photos on the listing do not reflect the ground floor apartment, only two photos of the ~50 are of that one. The ceilings are not vaulted, it’s not open, the room is VERY tiny and the bedroom door wouldn’t close unless you full body slammed into it. I’d stay elsewhere next time.
