Already before the trip we were well informed by Wayne and Caroline about the stay. At arrival, Wayne and Caroline gave us a warm welcome and great advice about places to see and eat. The breakfast was the best we had during our trip so far. The rooms were nice and comfy, and the shower after a long journey simply perfect. A huge thanks to both for everything.

Absolutely lovely stay at The Cruachan Hotel. We last stayed here almost 30 years ago and it has had a major update recently. The hotel is very comfortable and well appointed and in a fantastic location close to the town centre with stunning views of Loch Linnhe.

Staff were excellent, large room very comfortable beds. Shower/bathroom was large and clean. No noise heard from other guests. Pool and steam room were good. Plenty car parking.

I have stayed in CitizenM hotels few good times, the hotel is clean, the bed comfortable and the hotel has a great vibe, food and drinks are good, check in and out very easy.

Unfortunately my experience at CitizenM Victoria was very unpleasant. For my second night, I have booked through the CitizenM app and I assumed it will be the same type room, as nothing different was stated in the app. At check in again I was not told that it will be a disabled room. Went back to the Reception and I was refunded the money immediately, without even me asking. I asked for the Duty Manager and I was told that there is nothing that can be done. I was told that the refund will take three to five working days . I suggested to go to a different CitizenM , but I should pay again, I was told. It was 10 pm and I was exhausted and asked again what my options are. The Duty Manager told me that what can be done is to book again, the same room, pay for it again as the refund can’t be cancelled . I was in shock with disbelief. On top of it, for a disabled room there was no rubber shower mat. The shower gel pump was stuck so made it frustrating to even take a decent shower. In the morning I woke up and as it wasn’t enough I was charged three times for the booking. I asked to speak with the someone and I met the Assistant Manager , Mr. Plamen. I voiced my concern and told him that I should have been given to option to choose the room and that I was charged three times. Mr Plamen explained to me that in the event of the hotel to be fully booked you pretty much get what’s left. Also told me that ‘’ he’s not saying that I’m lying ‘ but he needs to hear the version of the evening team. Also that I wasn’t charged three times, because the transactions are pending, which I find it ridiculous as I’ve clearly shown him the transactions. I am still not able to use that money, my money. I am beyond disappointed with how poorly this issue was handled. Also, my personal opinion, being greeted at checking with ‘ hello, Darling!’ I think it’s appalling.
