So after a very long journey I was met at reception by a lovely staff member who took me and luggage to my room. The room was huge and had a large, clean bathroom. Great breakfast and dinner choices available. Swimming pool was clean, a lovely temperature and a great bonus after a long day of travelling! One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in for a while.

Although the food choices were good, unfortunately, the cooking of said food left a bit to be desired. For breakfast i asked for two poached eggs but only one was cooked sufficiently to eat and for dinner i asked for Salmon (not to be cooked in any oil) and I received a piece of salmon which was grilled and overcooked so very hard and dry to eat. Could have gone in the oven for 20mins and been perfect for serving especially as I had ordered a starter (which was lovely) so the wait time would not have been too long?

We ate our breakfasts outside. The room was much larger and better equipped than we had expected (we were upgraded unexpectedly, and received two drinks vouchers. Bed extremely comfortable. Location very convenient, even if every place around is rather pricey! We loved the golden pig in our corridor and always rubbed his bottom for good luck when we passed!

Shower could have been more adjustable (one of us is rather small and could not reach the shower head), and I personally would have chosen a different door for it, but the water pressure and temperature were good, and controllable (not always the case!).

When we arrived and went to our room it was dirty, so we went back down and got given a new room. In the morning we went for breakfast only to find out it finished at 9:30 on weekdays

Its tricky, almost scary, to find to hotel at night. There isnt an obvious sign at the road etc. You have to keep walking until you start to lost your hopes completely. But don't stop! Keep walking, and hopefully, you'll be able to find it—or not... Also, they charge money if you want to leave your luggage in the safe room. If you dont, there isnt an elevator so you have to carry them.
