Staff were great and location was also great for the price. Booked a few months in advance and booked a double room but unfortunately one of the rooms we got were on the smaller side, not ideal for multiple luggages. Staff working at the time was very helpful and were willing to change our room the next day but unfortunately it was a busy time so unable to change the rooms. Room also came with iron & blow dryer, shampoo, body soap & hand soap which is great.

Stayed for a week but we only had our room cleaned once so room felt kind of dirty after some time, noticed it wasn't a proper clean i.e. floors were still dirty. Room was quite small so was hard to move around in and the sink was hard to use because it was very small and height was unusual.

A lovely location between John O'Groats and Scrabster. Very convenient for the ferry. Our hosts were delightful and could not have been more helpful. Our room was lovely and comfortable with our own coffee machine. Everywhere was spotless and the breakfast was excellent with a great choice of continental and cooked food.

I would like to thank the staff at the Tavistock Hotel for their hospitality and generosity during my stay there on two occasions in May this year. I would particularly like management to convey my heartfelt thanks to Viktoria (front of hotel staff) whose professionalism and kindness made my stay even more special.

Very good location if you are a plane spotter! We had a runway view room which gave an outstanding view of planes either landing or taking off. Soundproofing to the outside was excellent. Very convenient location across the road to Hatton cross tube and bus station.

The bed was rock hard and most uncomfortable. Whilst sound proofing to the outside was great, the same could not be said for sound between rooms and the corridor. These 2 factors would prevent us staying here again.

The room I stayed in, needed a makeover poorly decorated when using the sink in the onsuit. There was a backflow in the shower, but no problem when having a shower. Overall a little bit tired.and run down?
