The food (lunch and breakfast) that we had in the hotel/pub was good quality and service was quick and friendly. The room was a good size. The location was great for a short drive into Aylesbury town and also 10 mins from Coombe Hill.

The bathroom (room 10) is in real need of renovation. There were water / rust stains on the floor and around the pipes of the towel rail. The cause was two-fold. The shower hose and head spray out a lot of water while using it. Luckily the pressure is really good so you don't lose out much, but still not great for the price paid for the room. Also, the shower door doesn't align and close fully so while showering some water always got out on the floor. Based on the stains on the floor it seems like this has been happening for a while. As other reviewers have said, the shower cubicle is pretty small too.

Quiet location. Clean and comfortable. Lovely little extras in the kitchen. Lovely helpful owner. The vanity area was handy as I was getting my daughter ready for a dance competition.

The Crown is in a great location. It is very clean and the staff are extremely helpful. Rooms are beautifully decorated and appointed. Great evening meals and excellent beer.

This is a lovely hotel, very convenient for where I was working in Leicester. Very nice decor and spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom.

The free Wifi was very patchy - kept cutting out continuously, which was not good for me as I was in Leicester for work and absolutely reliant on accessing work papers online.

Nothing specifically about the property that I didn't like. It was just slightly annoying to keep getting messages asking me to leave a review. I'm a busy mum so I would have got around to it but felt that if I didn't do this now, I would continue to get messages 😔
