Staff were very friendly. Very clean and tidy although just slightly careworn in places, kitchen was well equipped, it had everything we needed to cater for ourselves though we barely used it. Location was a little close to several clubs but we barely heard the customers/music and felt safe. I would definitely stay there again. It was an uphill walk to get to the tourist area but I was expecting that.

Great location, friendly atmosphere in the pub, room lovely everything you need, bathroom had toiletries! Evening meal was excellent, good quality an very good value service excellent! Breakfast.....!!

Very convenient hotel for short stays! Incredible location being right next to the train station & river. Really comfy bed & good facilities with a shared kitchen provided too.

If you have a room next to the road it can be really noisy! The walls are quite thin too and my room was next to the front door so I could hear a lot of people coming in and out. They do provide great earplugs though which helped me sleep much better.

Very clean annexe. Comfy bed. Coffee, tea, milk & biscuits were a nice touch. A hand towel in the kitchen and kitchen roll would have been welcome in the kitchen.

Blackout blinds needed as too much light coming through in early morning. Step into bathroom needs to be clearly marked to avoid tripping. (we solved this by placing the bath mat at the step).

Stayed overnight for my nephew's wedding. The room was a great size and everything I needed was available. Parking was easy and location of the hotel was great.

Window latch was broken and therefore couldn’t be secured closed - with easy access from a flat roof. Not ideal. Room was also overly warm even with the window open.

Not really anything to do with the property but the breakfast was a little disappointing. The poached egg was perfect but the mushroom was very greasy and the sausage wasn’t great, none of the party ate it.

Staff wasn’t trained rite on bringing food out as got my starter soup and 5 mins later she bring my main course I didn’t even get half my soup finished and she came to table and said your a slow eater and took my main course back not good at all and Defoe not be eating there again

No air con so very hot at night, cramped rooms, leaky shower, no bar in the evening for a drink (which was a shame as decor for the bar was lovely) receptionist forgot to book our taxi when requested.
