  It was booked as an overnight stay to break the journey from East Sussex to Cornwall but felt so much more! The atmosphere in the room - Morgans Nest - was relaxing, calming and gave a sense of wellbeing. Our hostess, Patricia, was so welcoming and friendly which made the stay even better. All the usual amenities but with charm and individuality, like a whole pint of milk rather than a couple of little 'halfcup' cartons you usually find! Would really recommend a stay!

  Can't fault it. Warm welcome with tea and cake. Comfy bed in a quiet location. Outstanding breakfast! Home made bread, jam, marmalade & granola, apple juice from the garden, and full cooked breakfast including the most delicious slow-roasted tomatoes I've ever tasted! I asked for a sandwich lunch, which was a very generous size at a reasonable price. Made with more homemade ingredients & fresh salad from the garden. Felt like a king!

  Plenty of parking space. Great room with huge television. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. English breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay there again on another trip to Suffolk.

  Hotel good location for the town, which is also a negative because of street noise into the early morning making sleep difficult

  Street noise, not helped by windows that we could not shut. Poor breakfast organisation, food quality good, but having to wait 20/30 mins after ordering to get the food is not so good.
