Everything is perfect! Whenever I come to Oxford, I book this hotel. Its location is convenient. The place is safe and quiet. Staff members are friendly and helpful. You feel at home. As I am travelling with my family, I felt that this is the perfect place for me. The hotel is flexible and able to accommodate most of its guests' needs.

Great location, peaceful place. Helpful staff recommended an excellent and reasonably priced local restaurant and told us about a good pub with live music on the night we stayed. Would book again.

I liked that there was no key service, it was all digital with a code. It's a stone throw from the beach and 5 minutes walk to town

Upon arrival, going through the main door it smelt like dog. We was on the top floor and when going up the stairs the carpet was loose on some of the steps. When arriving in our room, barring in mind the cleaners had just left our room, there was cobwebs, dust, skid marks in the toilet, dirt and stains on the wall and the shower was out of us. We had to use the communal shower on the lower level, that wasn't clean, the toilet had marks in the floor hadn't been swept or mopped, the shower tray had a wet white n stained yellow towel in there, the shower tray was yellow the shower head holder was broken and the water run down the door and onto the floor, becoming a slip hazard as there is no bath mat. We then had to walk upstairs in a towel. Tv didn't fit on the table properly, plug socket near bed didn't work, curtain pole holder was coming off the wall above our head, bed was so unsafe and wobbly we are surprised we wasn't on the floor this morning. 1 towel had a yellow stain on it. There was marks on the ceiling and cracks on the wall. When opening the curtains people opposite can see straight through your window as there is no net curtains up. I would rather sleep on the beach wall or the street than in this place again

Location is good, meters away from train station and famous chicken shop!

Microwave doesn't work, bed is from the 1800's so squeaky and hard couldn't get comfortable, when I did the squeaks ruined it, also door handle inside the room was loose.

missed breakfast as we had to be away at 7am, Dinner was nice but not worth the cost.
