Set within the Yorkshire wildlife park itself, this very new and modern yet rustic in a sense and full of character hotel is a great place to stay. Lots of amazing coffee bags, hot chocolate and biscuits in the room, amazing shower, very nice free toiletries and a super comfy bed.

We loved everything about the cottage. It was well equipped in a quiet spot with lovely views near a superb pub serving excellent food. The Logburner was a great way to keep warm and heat our water. We also saw the Jacobite steam train pass above the garden.

Our only criticism was the rather small double bed with a footboard so my 6ft 3 inch husband found it rather short.

The property is well equipped with things we need for our stay. Very quiet and relaxing area. Near to places we wanted to visit in cotswold. Host very prompt to answer our queries.

Hot water seems to ran out after 3 guest used the shower and after we doing the dishes. But that didn't hinder the fun we had during our stay.

Friendly host, gave us lots of suggestions for where to eat in Dingwall. Also knowledgeable about nearby attractions and places to visit. A hearty breakfast was provided.

A hospitality tray was provided in our room but there wasn’t a socket nearby to plug the kettle into.

Comfortable cosy Cumbrian inn in a great location set amidst a natural garden and woodland. Reasonable sized bedroom well fitted out. It should be a great place to stay.

Unfortunately, the kitchen is a disaster. No-one seems to have any catering skills. The one dinner we had was inedible and we were not charged as the game pie pastry was uncooked. Otherwise we dined elsewhere. Both breakfasts were the same - pre cooked bacon regrilled to be hot but dry as leather, poached eggs undercooked. The worst cooked breakfast I've ever had.

Staff could not have been more helpful. Excellent situation with easy pedestrian access to town centre

Lack of lift was an inconvenience but given the layout of the hotel it would seem impractical to put one in. Only two floors so we could manage

Absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean property. Great outdoor space, quiet area. Fantastic
Positive section of review
Great location. Nice clean room with easy check in and check out.
Negative section of review
The shower head was broke so there wasn't much pressure in the water as it was just pooring down the handle instead. Also the TV had no signal so we couldn't watch anything or play the radio through it either.

The location was perfect and easy to fine.
Negative section of review
The overall cleanliness. There was mould around the windows and we could smell the damp on entering the apartment. Also the duvet was dirty and stained and when we emailed the property regarding our concern. No one came back to us. We had to keep the heat on to stay warm.

Very clean and good location.
Negative section of review
Most of the breakfast was cold, which was disappointing.
