- a nice apartment - comfortable beds - a good wifi speed (when you were succesfull to register it) - well equipped kitchen - it had also an oven, coffee maker and capsules of coffe and tea bags were available for free - close to a train station (just 5 min walk), - it took 20 - 30 min to get to the city centre - Supermarket just 3 min walk away - parking was available only at the street. It was for free during wekend only. During working week there was restriction and from 11Am to 1 PM a car could not be parked there, rest of hours were for free - super for staying up to 4 people

- very small dining table, we were 5 people and there were only 4 chairs. Nevertheless even there was an additional chair, there would not be space to eat all 5 people together because of the small table. - an appartment was in the 4th floor without a lift - we were ok with that but somebody could have problem to carry lugguge upstair - windows in sleeping rooms were oriented towards to a train station. The train station was just below the windows and in the morning one could hear beeping noise of a train doors when they were opening and closing when people got in the train. The Ellisabeth line had and a final station there. We were ok with that but somebody with light sleeping could have problem - we had a problem registering our device to wifi. The Wifi registration was possible only via QR code and a device as a computer or an older tablet had a problem to focus on provided QR code and registration was not successfull ... Manual wifi registration via password was not possible and I see it as a very big problem

Staff are friendly and professional, service is good. Variety of dishes available for breakfast, which was perfectly cooked. Very pleasant sitting outside on the terrace in the sun - drinks brought out to you. Room very comfortable, with good quality tea and coffee (Nespresso machine) and Belgian chocolate biscuit. Towelling robes and great shower.

Nothing I can think of.

Lovely guesthouse in a great location. By the coast and by the castle and only about 5 minutes from the centre. Comfortable room with a lovely bathroom. Also, the host was quick to react if anything was requested. We were lucky as well and managed to find a place to park in the street right outside.

It was missing a couple of useful things, tea spoon and a tea towel would have been useful. Apart from those picky things we were very happy with everything.

A cosy traditional guesthouse with a true flavour of Scotland. The bed was so comfortable and I loved the opportunity to sit in the wooden floored sitting room in front of a log fire. Everything was clean and designed in a traditional and simple Scottish style.

The access to the Underground Garage and also our Unit was the same Code and this was very handy, the apartment itself suited us down to the ground and the Location was excellent. We would certainly use these apartments again.

Our only gripe was the fact there was not a normal standard frying pan it was more like a Wok not great for doing Bacon and Eggs. There was nothing else we were unhappy with.

Staff where great before midnight... but then....

Myself + colleague were stuck on either side of a room where a clearly abusive relationship was playing out it's tawdry drama. The couple verbally (and probably physically???) abused each other from midnight until we left at near to six after a few minutes sleep. No phones in room to ring reception??? No-one at reception to complain to???? No Gideons Bible to throw at the wall???Not a great advert for Scotland but worse for Glaswegian tourism (unless you fancy the full trainspotting experience ???). Not a regular visitor to Hibernia but the old saying 'nothing like a cliche for being true', comes to mind! TBH not the hotels fault but maybe should have put Begby and his wife in their own annexe? Would have phones the local constab but tbh after a 15 hr drive around the isles - didn't fancy a few hours making a statement at the local Nick (but with hindsight - may have got an hours kip in a cell had we done so)

Excellent friendly and helpful staff.

My room unfortunately was very nosey with water noise which woke me out of my sleep quite a few times during the night.

The staff were lovely.

The fact that both areas, bar and garden were closed due to functions. We were allocated a table outside the front of the hotel, off street, dull on a sunny afternoon and beside the car park. Also, no beer/lager on tap just bottles. Management should state clearly on your website that both areas for relaxing were unavailable to hotel guests. I am sure this is a common occurrence, which for hotel guests is unacceptable.

Central position

Breakfast was average and breakfast room was like a small cafe, far too small with guests queuing to get in and made to wait in reception. Very crowded when you went to get your buffet breakfast due to the small room.
