From booking welcome message and regular communication with hosts, this holiday was made simple and extremely relaxing. The property is spacious, well supplied for catering and we enjoyed the peaceful site. Breakfast was gifted by the host, was fresh and very local (chickens on site). Surprise breakfast supplies were delivered at regular intervals and were delightful.

The location was lovely. It was central to other locations and using the bus and trains were very local and easy to walk to. The food was expensive but really good and if you like seafood it was excellent.

The key number was not the one given by booking.com so we had to phone the owner and it was a completely different number. After a long journey on three trains it was very stressful. The house was generally clean but there was dirty cups and saucepans in the cupboard and cobwebs hanging fron the radiation in the bathroom. The bed settee was not the one on the pictures advertised and we required three beds to be made up and only two were but the lady did arrive within the hour to complete it. It was would have been nice to have a welcome pack telling how everything worked and perhaps a small amount of milk left in the fridge so we could have made a drink after a long journey. We had a lovely holiday but the first day was a little stressful.

The breakfast was lovely and could not fault anything. Location of hotel was great being next to the canal we had easy access to the canal footpaths to go walking which was beautiful.

It was so handy being within in easy walking distance to Paddington Station, that was definitely our favourite aspect. As well as the great breakfast places around

The excessive noise from the disco bar downstairs. No sleep until 3.30 am and I had to be up at 6 am to catch a train.
